Trajan commanded the Roman military in Asia and Europe, he would reduce taxes, as well as support the poor with a welfare system. He would build many public works making him very popular among his people. He also contributed to one of the greatest territorial expansions in the empire's history. Trajan was later known as the second of the five good Emperors. He would die of illness in 117 AD.
