Product Description:

This 2 oz Year of the Tiger coin features a stunning antiquing effect reminiscent of the lunar calendar's ancient heritage. It depicts a mother and her cub in an intricately composed landscape characterised by a river flowing through rocky terrain with bamboo, a plant symbolising honour, virtue, and modesty. The coin is limited to 1,888 pieces.

*99.99% pure silver
*Designed by Jennifer McKenna
*Limited issue of 1,888 coins
*Australian Legal tender

Each coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the undisputed guarantee of its weight and purity.

On the reverse of the coin, it depicts a tiger cub following its mother across fern and bamboo-covered rocks beneath its proud and protective parent. The obverse side of each coin depicts the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the weight and fineness, and the monetary denomination.

The coin is housed in a classic display case with a clear lid decorated with a silver geometric design. The case is packaged in a beautifully illustrated shipper portraying the story of how the tiger became the third animal of the Chinese lunar calendar and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
