2020 marks the 75th Anniversary of the end of World War II. To commemorate, The Perth Mint have released a stunning 2oz gold coin, struck from 99.99% pure gold.
To commemorate peace at the end of the war, the coin’s design features two wreaths and a dove. The silhouettes of soldiers can also be seen in the background.
Each coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act of 1965 and no more than 250 2oz gold coins will be released. Each coin comes presented in a deluxe collectors case and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
