Arguably one of the most outstanding military leaders in all history, he was famously never defeated in battle. He would establish and control one of the biggest empires ever known, spanning from Greece to India but his expansion would be cut short due to his death.

Even with his vast empire and heroic accomplishments, he would never be able to complete his expansionist desires. It is said he was planning to invade the Arabian states of the time, as well as continue to conquer the east until he reached the sea. He would have inevitably conquered all of Asia and approached the middle east. His military tactics are still studied in academies around the world to this day.

Obverse: Head of deified Alexander the Great with horn of Ammon

Reverse: Athena seated on throne holding Nike with spear behind
