2020 marks the 75th Anniversary of the end of World War II. To commemorate, The Perth Mint have released a stunning 1/4oz gold coin, struck from 99.99% pure gold.
Celebrating peace at the end of the war, the coin’s design features a stylised representation of a silhouetted soldier walking into the sunset. Two wreaths encase a central dove motif.
Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act of 1965, no more than 1,000 1/4oz gold coins will be released. Each coin comes presented in a deluxe collectors case and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
