DESIGN
The coin features an emu standing on a grassy sand dune with waves crashing in the background. The design also includes the inscription 'AUSTRALIAN EMU,' a 'P125' mintmark celebrating The Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary, along with the coin’s weight, purity, and year of issue.

The obverse side of the coin displays the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, along with the monetary denomination.

AUTHENTICATION FEATURE
To enhance security, each coin includes a micro-laser engraved letter within the design, detectable under magnification, making counterfeiting considerably more challenging.
