BRITANNIA COINS:
The inception of Britannia coins by the Royal Mint dates back to 1987, starting with the Gold Coin and later adding the Silver coin from 1998, followed by Platinum. The Royal Mint released the final coin to feature the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II in 2023 as a limited product run, followed shortly by the split release of their 2023 Britannia coins debuting the King Charles III effigy.

A security feature to this design switches between a trident and a padlock as the viewer changes their perspective. This represents both Britannia and bullion security.
